I recently helped a client deploy a secondary-development version of the Shengyu International arcade simulation demo platform. It took two days of fiddling around, and I hit plenty of snags along the way. While everything is still fresh in my memory, I’m writing down the whole setup process to save some time for anyone else taking on a similar project. This source code is the Weixing secondary-development edition—the license has already been handled, so it runs once you swap in your own API keys. Overall, it was less hassle than I expected.

Feature Review: What This System Actually Offers
Before rushing to deploy, I always like to walk through the directory structure locally first. This program uses a classic PHP + MySQL architecture, with separate PC and mobile frontend templates, and a fairly complete admin panel.
Core Module Overview
1. Game demo module: The secondary-development version has trimmed down some of the games, keeping only the core demo scenarios. The random number logic and probability simulation parameters can all be adjusted from the admin panel—plenty for teaching demos or product walkthroughs.
2. SMS API: The author claims it’s already integrated, and in my testing that’s true. You just need to replace the SMS service account and key in the admin panel, and verification codes and registration notifications work right away. I tested with Alibaba Cloud SMS—only two lines of config needed changing.
3. Admin control panel: Permission levels are fairly granular, with three separate roles: administrator, operations, and finance. The most-used sections day to day are data statistics and user management. Reports export as CSV, which is good enough.
4. Payment interface: The system reserves a reel simulation for a third-party payment aggregation API. For a demo environment, I’d recommend just hooking up sandbox mode—no real channels, which keeps things simple and compliant.

Deployment Essentials: Environment Setup and Pitfall Log
Environment Requirements
PHP 7.4 is recommended—don’t go with 8.0. The encrypted portions of this older program throw deprecated-function warnings under 8.x. MySQL 5.6 or 5.7 both work. Ready-made Nginx rewrite rules are included in the source package; just copy them over. Required PHP extensions: pdo_mysql, curl, fileinfo, and gd. Missing any one of them and the admin panel won’t open.
Installation Steps
Import the database file first. Note that the database charset should be utf8mb4—my first attempt used utf8 and some emoji fields threw errors, forcing a redo. Then edit the database connection file in the config directory. The default admin path is /admin; change the password the moment you log in.
Three Pitfalls I Hit
First, the SMS API key has to be changed in both the config file and the admin panel—changing only the panel does nothing, and the author’s docs don’t make this clear. Second, misconfigured rewrite rules cause mobile pages to 404; Nginx users, remember to add the rewrite rules. Third, the game asset directory is quite large, and uploading via BaoTa panel tends to time out—better to upload the archive and extract it from the command line.

Tip: After deployment, run through the entire flow on a local machine or test domain before migrating to production. The API keys, admin password, and database table prefix must all be changed from their defaults—security is never a small matter.
Secondary Development Suggestions: What’s Worth Changing
If you plan to use this long-term, I’d recommend three things. One, replace the frontend template’s color scheme and logo—the default template is instantly recognizable. Two, trim the redundant admin menus; the secondary-development version already cut some games, but empty menu entries remain, which hurts the user experience. Three, set up scheduled database backups—use BaoTa’s cron tasks to back up once nightly, so you can roll back quickly if anything goes wrong.
Template changes are mostly in the template directory. The structure isn’t complicated; anyone with basic HTML skills can get started. Want to add multilingual support? The system has a built-in language pack mechanism with en and zh file sets—just follow the existing format.

Who This Is For
This source code suits three groups: development teams building interactive game demo projects, freelancers who need to quickly stand up a demo site to show clients, and source code enthusiasts who want to study this kind of platform architecture. If you’re a complete beginner, practice locally with phpStudy first—don’t jump straight to a production environment.
FAQ
Q: Can it be used normally without a license?
A: This secondary-development edition has already had the license restrictions handled. Just replace the API keys and it runs normally—no extra cracking needed.
Q: How powerful does the server need to be?
A: For demos and small-scale use, a 2-core 4GB cloud server is more than enough. Upgrade only when concurrency grows—the priority is tuning the MySQL cache properly.
Q: Do I have to use the SMS provider the author integrated?
A: No. The API is a standard HTTP call, so Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud SMS, or others all work—just change the API URL, account, and key parameters.
Q: Games load slowly after deployment—what should I do?
A: Most likely the static assets aren’t behind a CDN. Point the static asset directory to a CDN, or enable Nginx gzip compression, and load speeds can more than double.
One final reminder: this program is intended solely for technical learning and legitimate demo scenarios. Please comply with all applicable laws and regulations during use, and never use it for any unlawful purposes.
